Salvation

What does it mean to be “SAVED”?

-         “SAVED” is a term used to refer to the FACT that you will spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven – Instead of Satan in Hell.

-          Being saved means you have given your heart, life, and soul to Jesus Christ.

After I’m saved – What do I do?

-         God wants an intimate Relationship with you. All you do is talk to God.

-         We talk to God through PRAYER. Prayer is your direct link to God.

-         You follow God’s lead on decisions in you life and try to help other come to know God as their Personal Savior

-         Find a body of believers that can support you and help you grow as a Christian.

   -     Find a church that believes in Eternal Life through Salvation in Jesus Christ.

Does “Becoming a Christian” mean I can’t enjoy life?

-         NO!  Being a Christian mean you will enjoy life more than ever before. You will

have a personal relationship with the Creator of the Universe. You will be best

friends with the most powerful Entity of all time.

   -    God will strengthen you to do thing you would not be able to do on your own.

-         Through The Love of Christ – You will be a better Parent, a better Child, a better Spouse, a better Person, and a Light to others. You will live with true Passion.

-         Being a Christian will mean you will be all God wants you to be.

Can’t I get into Heaven by being a Good Person?

-         NO!  We have all sinned and  fallen short of the Glory of God.

-         The Bible tells us that the only way into Heaven is through Jesus Christ

-         Being a good person is nice – But Only through SALVATION can you enter in to the Gates of Heaven.

What must I do to be saved?

   -     FIRST , Accept that you are a sinner. “For all have sinned, and come short of the

          Glory of God.”  Romans 3:23

   -     SECOND – Know that you owe a penalty. “For the wages of sin is death.”

          Romans 6:23

   -     THIRD – Know that Jesus has already paid your sin debt. “For when we were

without strength in due time, Christ died for the Ungodly.”  Romans 5:6

-         FOURTH – Receive, by faith, what Jesus Christ has done for you. “But as many as

received Him, to them gave he power to become the Sons of God.” John 1:12

To receive Jesus Christ By prayer – Pray this prayer in your heart:

DEAR  LORD JESUS, I know that I am a sinner, I believe that Jesus died on the Cross for me, I turn from my sin and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord, I thank you Jesus for answering this prayer of Salvation, In Jesus’ name, Amen.
